喬伊，願你安息 @ 小羽啦啦隊 UCHEERU

一個突然的簡訊把我從睡夢中驚醒

去年在日本夏令營認識的美國教練-喬伊
在美國時間4/5日因突發性心臟病發作病逝醫院

天啊，我一度以為是愚人節的玩笑

但仔細思考後，抱著不安的心情查詢消息求證，
結果....卻是令人震驚與心碎

喬伊，很愛笑的黑人啦啦隊教練
總是可以在他臉上看到令人放鬆的俏皮表情
圓圓大大的眼睛看著你時好像有種魔力，讓你可以隨時提起精神再努力下去

他是美國一位很資深的啦啦隊教練
生前正致力於新的啦啦隊賽制，為了降低啦啦員在舊賽制中產生的受傷風險
並提高啦啦隊員在體育圈的地位

還記得，我們在香港的世界賽中再度相遇，喬伊給我一個大大的擁抱，我送他一件紀念啦T
在正式會議中，時而嚴肅地談論新的賽制，時而風趣地談天說笑....

他好像還沒來得及實現他的夢想(讓啦啦隊成為全美大學校園正式的運動項目)，
就離開他最愛的工作和家人朋友

這是去年十一月，台灣啦啦隊員練習時不慎重傷過逝，Joey寄給我的慰問信

Huang Yu-Chun,

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to the family of Feng Shu-hui, her fellow teammates, school mates and all the cheerleading community in Taiwan. It is always a tragedy when an athlete in any sport has their life taken away. It is a sad time for all those involved.

I hope that you will stand as a leader for the sport of cheerleading as surely opponents of the sport will criticize the legitimacy and safety of the sport in light of this accident. I know the CTCF will be an example of all things safe and positive about the sport.

I will be attending the IFC CWC's in Honk Kong and I hope I will see you there.
